September 2019:
Speaker and run leader at the annual WellVet Weekend. A weekend of CPD for veterinary professionals centred around finding wellbeing in practice.

So Far..

July 2019:
Founder of Vet MINDS a new Facebook Support Group for veterinary professionals dealing with Miscarriage, Infertility, Neonatal Death and Stillbirth. We are aiming to create a community for support and understanding within the veterinary world.

June 2019:
Interview on the Of Mountains and Minds Podcast about everything from running to pregnancy loss and how this is perceived in society today. You can read about and hear the interview here

May 2019:
Article in the West Bridgford Wire about Finishing the London Marathon on the anniversary of my miscarriage, you can read the article here

May 2019:
Running the Vitality London Half Marathon dressed as giant guide dogs to raise money for the Guide Dogs Association, you can read articles about this in the Veterinary Times and the West Bridgford Wire

December 2018:
Co-speaker on webinar for the RCVS Vet Minds Matter initiative on the Webinar Vet. Entitled “I know it’ll be good for me tomorrow: Physical Activity, the elixir that’s just around the corner” we discuss how exercise can improve your mental health and wellbeing in veterinary practice. November 2018:
Speaker on panel at Nottingham Vet School “Finding Wellbeing in Veterinary Practice”, you can read the write up here

July 2018:
Writer on article for Runners World Magazine entitled “Can running cause a miscarriage, and when to return to running if you’ve suffered a miscarriage?” sharing my experience of pregnancy loss, and returning to exercise afterwards.

June 2018:
Organiser of special NHS70 parkrun, more than 500 runners ran in NHS themed fancy dress to celebrate 70 years of the NHS. You can read about this event in the official parkrun run report, the Nottinghamshire Post as well as printed papers. My blog about this event can be read here
